00:27:30 Dorothee Bennett: 😊 00:38:59 Erin Harris: I do! 00:39:05 Sarah Feher: I do 00:39:09 Agrippina Fadel: I do 00:39:11 Sandra Bridglal-Changwai: Same here 00:39:20 Dorothee Bennett: Yup. 00:39:30 Sarah Feher: It's easy to get sucked into the cute kitten reels LOL 00:49:31 Agrippina Fadel: I heard that now it is more about sharing the reel/post and saving it, than likes 01:01:54 Hope Willis: I like the bookface Friday, OTD, and shelfies. Loved the 60's pic too. 01:01:54 Agrippina Fadel: 1. Librarian spotlight with link in bio leading to the full story 2. Student generated content in the library (selfies, etc. while in the building - we encourage this during our scavenger hunts) 3 - therapy dog in the library photos (dog in the stacks and with students during events) 01:02:13 Dorothee Bennett: Favorite places in the library 01:03:01 Sarah Feher: my county has farmland in the north end and beaches on the south end - so a "where are you reading" series with nice landscape images 01:03:12 Dorothee Bennett: Candid shots of unexpected library activities 01:04:58 Hope Willis: Great idea :) 01:07:23 Sarah Feher: Fellow FL folks: can we even use stories since they disappear? How does that work with the Sunshine Laws? 01:09:03 Erin Harris: I'm not 100% sure, but I know that Stories has an Archiving feature so if someone wants to see it after the 24 hour period, you can pull it up. 01:09:09 Agrippina Fadel: Sarah, they technically stay saved on your account, there are ways to access them (when you create highlights, for example) 01:09:43 Sarah Feher: Okay - thanks for the information! I am just a super casual Instagram user so I wasn't sure how all of that worked! 01:10:02 Hope Willis: We have a company that archives our Facebook and our Instagram is connected to the Facebook. 01:18:49 Erin Harris: Omg that's mine!! 01:19:02 Erin Harris: This one 01:19:10 Erin Harris: We do it every month :) 01:19:22 Erin Harris: Thanks for featuring it! 01:19:28 Hope Willis: That's great! 01:21:20 Erin Harris: Yay! Love that!! We try to change it up every month or so, but the biggest thing we find is that finding a trending sound really gets the best engagement. It's a constant for our followers and they love it. It made my day that you featured it :) 01:22:03 Dorothee Bennett: I like the timelapse 01:22:41 Hope Willis: Reels- I love the posting of new releases. It seems a better fit, I do I Facebook page for it but I like that better. 01:22:52 Ned Potter: Haha, it's so great that I found that and show it and it happens to be yours! Amazing. Great work! 01:23:47 Sarah Feher: We had someone place a brand new pair of pants in the book drop at one of our locations, so a "Lost and Found" type of story would've been helpful in trying to locate the owner 01:24:18 Agrippina Fadel: Stories: trivia for students: few questions, give them a prize for completing: Reels: we are talking to PD to do a similar dog video. We do reels a lot in general (our student employee helps a lot) for example, we do weekly #TuesdayTip where we feature a service or space, or explain how to use something. We also have done unboxing videos of new books. In the end it is just about the buy in from librarians - how to convince them to participate, since not everyone wants to be in the videos. Having student volunteers helps a lot. 01:28:29 Erin Harris: Yep! Love that show! 01:34:05 Erin Harris: Hey Ned, kind of a random question, but do you remember how you found that post of ours? I see that you don't follow us (*sniff*), so just curious how you saw it! :) 01:34:58 Erin Harris: Haha it's okay! :) I'm just happy to see it! 01:37:23 Erin Harris: Not a tip or anything, but just wanted to invite anyone to look through our Instagram page, we've upped our reel game since that post you showed: https://www.instagram.com/pbclibrary/ 01:37:58 Agrippina Fadel: https://www.instagram.com/faulibraries 01:44:02 Dorothee Bennett: I have them bookmarked in my browser. 01:49:08 Hope Willis: I missed if all the sites you gave for photos for Facebook.. are the sites free to use? 01:49:19 Hope Willis: I love photofunia 01:49:34 Hope Willis: Thank you. 01:51:20 Agrippina Fadel: Thank you, Ned! 01:52:05 Hope Willis: Thank you, I always enjoy your webinars. 01:52:07 Sarah Feher: Thank you!
